Similar experience last May. Booked early, corresponded with hotel, explained wife's heart problems mean she can't handle stairs, was confirmed a ground floor room. Arrived and allocated upstairs. Complained and made a scene and after much head scratching and mumbling finally got what we booked and paid for. Must confess that our stay was enjoyable after that, but was a most disappointing experience to begin with. Agree with other comments that they are overpriced for the area and facilities.
