I stayed there a few years ago and wouldn't stay again. I had a ground floor "old" room. Not many rooms had been reno'd at that stage. The room was fine, no mould etc. I had problems though, with them constantly taking my table and chairs from outside the room to put in the restaurant for their AFL viewing patrons. Since I stay in Bali for a month at a time, I enjoy time sitting outside my room with a book and a cold drink, so this became annoying very quickly.
I asked repeatedly for them to not take them, or at the very least, leave me one chair but they didn't give a toss.
There was a similar problem with them taking the poolside umbrellas to put out the front of the restaurant, leaving no shade to sit under.
The hotel was nice enough and I love the location, but for the price I paid (US$80/night, which was negotiated for longer stay from their website US$120/night price), I didn't find it good value.
I stay around the corner now for around half the price and no problems at all.
