Why do you have to go shopping with your family? You are on holidays, you should be able to choose what you want to do too. Send the rest of the famly off shopping, you can go and do what you want. Yes, I am female, and prefer to shop without my partner.
We often go to Bali anyway witnout the orher half, due to different committments at work and available holiday times.
Whatever you choose, enjoy your time in Bali..
