As a male solo traveller the only real annoyance I find in Kuta is the constant offers of massage,young lady,viagra ect ect,a big smile and keep on walking. I have travelled to Kuta since around 1989 and always find it interesting to see all the changes that have taken place since my previous visit. Really like the beach scene,the variety of restaurants and the friendly banter with the stall holders. Not too much wrong with Kuta in my opinion and yes I have travelled widely in Bali over some 50 plus visits.
