Been to Bali many times, usually stay at Sanur and Ubud. Going for a mother/daughter time out in March and our priorities are: safety and budget. We don't mind if it's not such a cultural experience this time, and not looking for night life, but we do want access to cheap restaurants and massages, and would like to be able to do some beachside walks without too much hassle. I'm thinking Nusa Dua would fit the bill if I can find a cheap enough hotel on Expedia - but haven't stayed there before and, as it is gated, not sure that there are cheap massages on offer there....? Advice from Nusa Dua experts would be much appreciated! Thanks.
