With only 2 weeks notice, Garuda announced they were no longer flying out of Brisbane to Denpasar from 1 February 2015. Great, we had booked last October for a holiday in Bali in March 2015. The travel agent said Garuda were prepared to re-route us to Sydney, maybe then via Jakarta, and so it goes on. I said forget it, refund me my money. Although my payment went to Garuda immediately I paid it, it seems it will now take up to 9weeks to recover the money. Have to keep a close eye on this as this falls within the period that my travel insurance will cover, hope they don't stuff me around too much.
So p**ed off with Garuda, now are planning a trip to Chang Mai later this year.
