When in Yogya we spotted a lovely "karpeenk" of a man 'Berjongkok' which means he was with his rear on the ground, arms across his knees and looking very tranquil, the epitome of relaxation; unable to buy it then for lack of funds.

Months later, back in Bali, we tried for it on four floors of the market across the river, beside the Chinese Restaurant. They had the karpeenk but lt had the large Bali Schlong, spoiling the effect,we continued to refuse on these grounds. Eventually, at long last, highest floor at the back, we found he Yogya version: after a little bargaining we headed down to-wards the double-sided 'special' glass (on request) which has frozen gas in between, at the Bali Garden Chinese Restuarant. Half-way there we were chased by a seller from a lower floor, shouting "Ai cut ees deek off" much to the delight of those witnessing the selling tactics of this enterprising fellow!
Maybe next day he was selling a genuine Bali Schlong, who knows?

Long-winded but true, Picky Pete
