Been to Bali many times and the orphanage kids often come along with their drums etc. Last night, was no exception, and they came along to our restaurant beating drums whilst the kids came inside for donations. I had kept back 20 x 1000rp coins for them. The kids wanted to accept them but the man with them said. " we only want notes" = bad luck sunshine. The restaurant staff jar accepted them. If 20,000rp is not good enough for the orphanage they must be rolling in money.
Never again will they get one Rp from me.
