What would I do when bitten by a dog?

I'd try to catch the dog and find out if it is infected.

Then, when the dog is infected I'd get the shots.

Keep in mind that the incubation period for rabies is rather long. So you have some time. But also keep in mind that there is no cure for rabies and the mortality rate is about 100%
