I want to play Russian roulette with my nephew or any family members health in taking a chance that the dog is rabies free.
My nephews mother contacted her own GP in aust.who said to have the rabies treatment in Bali as SOS is top Rabies Hospital. The doctor at SOS was very professional talked us through everything showed us all medication still in sealed boxes checked used by dates etc.
Rabies is still a threat in Bali.
So to assume just because a dog is as you said "any ol garden variety dog" that we don't need shots is very irresponsible.
