Galungan 2014 just realised I will be

there with a Bali newby. What should I plan in advance? I realise a lot of shops will be closed so is there any special area recommended to stay at that time. There goes our chances of spa's and restaurants working as normal. What about traffic over that time? Would the Elephant park still be operating or best to avoid ?
