When did Garuda change their policy? I haven't travelled with them for a few years but then you could not pre-pay for extra baggage. If you were over the limit at the airport it was very expensive. One year I got caught out coming back and that proved to be very expensive. I think that is why Garuda lifted their baggage allowance to 30kgs for economy, so many requiring extra.
