When we got to the end of the booking it said " an error has occurred..
We waited a couple of minutes and when we didn't receive any confirmation the tickets had been purchased we pressed the button again..( but only one more time)
Waited still NO confirmation of a booking.. So we rang the bank to see if any money had come out of our account to pay for the tickets ..
They said ..YES-- you have been charged $1830 x 4 times.(2 tickets)
Good Lord...
The bank couldn't do anything about it at that time.
The money was pending but hadn't gone through.
Ring Garuda first thing the next morning...
NO... we don't have a booking for you..
And yes we had been charged 4 times ---
We had to wait to see what happened-- no one could stop it..
All 4 payments went through -- we had to apply by email to Garuda in Jakarta for a refund.. Which they paid but it took a week... All very stressful..
Oh and we had to start again to book our tickets ( on the phone this time)
but we couldn't use any of the money they already had!!!!! Had to pay again.
Hope you sort it out a bit quicker Leeniee than we did.
Garuda in Australia were very helpful.
But it shouldn't have happened.
