I have stayed at Grand Istana Rama a few times now. Stayed there last month and got ground floor deluxe room for $42 per night. Everything you need-air con, tea/coffee/kettle in room, fridge, nice pool, lovely grounds, nice balcony to sit in morning and drink coffee. Rooms are good and location fantastic. But do agree with brekky, not so good but no big deal we just went out and tried different places for brekky.
