Febris does have lovely gardens at the rear of the hotel. The pool is cold, but very refreshing. You must be talking about a long time ago, the trees have grown and chairs can be moved, lots of families around the pool area, when I was there in July. Breakfast was more than adequate even providing a take out container for our oversleeping teenagers who wouldnt get up for breakfast. Having had my husband in a Bali government hospital with swine flu in 2009, let me tell you Febris is not at all like any hospital I have been to.
Of course you always get to choose where to stay, but this hotel is fab for the price.
