I have spent the last four days in Lombok with friends. (yes I do have some).
I was sitting in the Lombok airport having a beer when my wife rang to see if I was still alive. Sadly for her I responded that I was still breathing.
I then boarded the plane, flew to Bali, went through the arrival terminal, grabbed a taxi and came back to Sanur via the new toll road.
I was at my own place having another beer exactly 80 minutes after receiving the call in Lombok.
All in all it seems some of the new infrastructure must be working.
