... and really enjoyed it, it was just so nice to shut off and be in your own little world of privacy, so good that you don't want to leave!
This was our first stay in a villa and I am glad to say it won't be our last. Next year we are also staying in a villa and hubby's strick instructions were it has to be better than Villas Bali Hotel & Spa or we'll just stay there again. I am thinking of booking Ulin Villas this time around.
I can't comment on location much because honestly, we didn't really leave the villa. We were only there two nights and the first evening we went to Chill for massage which was fantastic, only a short walk to the left of the driveway and Tulip for dinner which was just okay - we caught a taxi there.
Bali Deli is right across the road so we loaded up on nibbles, wine, cheese, dip, etc, and second day just hung out in our villa.
The Villas have a good restaurant on the grounds, we had lunch there while we waited for our villa and it was really nice - would definitely eat there again.
Pool is a great size, bedroom has air-con and tv, there is a small sitting area next to the kitchen which is undercover should it rain, a small upstairs area with lounge and tv, bathroom is undercover and open at one end, kind of an indoor/outdoor bathroom if you know what I mean.
We would definitely stay there again but Ulin has been playing on me for a while, it wasn't a consideration before because it is a little more expensive but given we deserve a treat next year I think we'll go with them this time - has more room and also an indoor lounge area.
Hope that helps!
