we used to always stay at Sari Beach in a deluxe room. However, a couple of years ago, they placed all the deluxe and seaview rooms in the hands of European travel agents and would only offer their superior rooms for direct bookings. Unfortunately, their superior rooms are not at all superior, being quite small and dingy. Also, some are right next to reception and with common verandahs, so not too much privacy.
On the plus side, the hotel is small, generally very quiet and was reasonably priced. Location is perfect. Breakfast was OK for the price, and the restaurant is reasonably priced also.
The deluxe rooms (if you manage to book one) are quite oldish but perfectly adequate for the cost (although we haven't stayed for 2 years, so room & cost may have changed since then).
