Visit Bali and you are going to see more 'wildlife' than in your sanitised cities.
It makes me laugh when people post 'shock-horror' stories about seeing a rat in hotel grounds or even visiting their room. Rats are everywhere, in every country. Same goes for cockroaches.
And then there is the cosy Balinese laid-back scene of one friend grooming another's hair for headlice as they sit on a sunny doorstep. If you find that unsavoury be glad you are living in the time of modern medications and income, and not a century or two ago. (Who just instinctively scratched their head?...haha)

If you have a bug, lizard or rat phobia then Bali may not be the best place to go..perhaps Antarctica would suit more.
