After reading about bloodyron's rumours I emailed the hotel as I was thinking of staying there and didn't want to book somewhere that was going to close down. This is what the General Manager replied.

The Regent Hotel opened its doors in June 2013. Since then we have been successfully running the Hotel and are currently running at 60.0% Occupancy.
We are also running at over 90.0% Guest Satisfaction Index. Many guests have had raving reports on the Hotel, its facilities and its services.
I have just come on board from the Banyan Tree Ungasan Bali where I was the Senior Assistant Vice President / General Manager for the last 2 years and will now be helming this property.
Michael Gaehler, a Swiss national who was here as the Opening GM is still here with me and will be assisting me in the initial stages before he leaves back to Regent Corporate Office in Taipei to oversee the many other planned openings.
