If you are going to ride or be a passenger on a bike just remember that you must decalare that on your travel insurence when you take it out otherwise you will not be covered if you have an accident. We have been 18 times and have never had any problems with the police apart from once back in 2000 when a group of us were on the beach letting off fireworks and one of our friends was taken away but he did not have to pay anything just given a warning. Our 4 adult children around your age have all been numerous times and they all go clubbing and they have never had problems either. But one of their friends was offered stuff by what our son believed to be an undercover cop outside Matahari's in Kuta square and our son alerted him to it and they screamed out Cop Cop and the cop ran off. Just do not accept anything from anyone that you think is suss and you will be ok.
