All good and congrates to your builder as you are happy, but with this any kind of building can be dressed up to look great, it's what's underneath that matters, has it had the following?
Pest control spraying before foundation stage?
a proper foundation with reinforced steel?
a moisture barrier before the bricks were laid?
water proofing mixed in the render and sufficient time to dry before white plastering?
how much water was mixed in the paint and was there any PVC glue used to help paint bonding?
Did a qualified electrician check the grounding or even is there any grounding/ and check all connections for poor joints?
Was the plumbing pressure tested?
These are only some of the things to be aware of! There is no building codes here,or building warranty just the builder what he thinks is correct, many times I have seen building put up with the above not done correctly and even against another property wall the min. is 1.2 meters. IMB ( Building Permit) not applied for. etc.etc.
I'm not knocking you but am only trying to assist the others that may think it's all easy it's NOT, good on you for having your little dream home in Paradise hope things go well for you.
