Firstly, Ririn had them so exhausted that they were practically asleep before they hit the pillow, bless her :).
And secondly, Munchie explained to Snubs that just like we were away in Bali, Petey had gone on holidays too and would be home by the time we got back. It was a tough sell, but he bought it. The tiredness helped though!
Mookie is a fickle thing, with no true alliances. LambLamb is by far the favourite, but he can easily be swayed by something else, in this case a small plastic dump truck that he "borrowed" from the kids club :)
You're absolutely right though, when I was a child I recall my Dad having asking his secretary to FedEx my toy Snoopy over to NZ when we were on holidays once because I'd left him behind and was completely inconsolable - brat!!
