Not sure about the reports of a new pool. The current pool didn't look like it was going anywhere soon.
There was plenty of building activity going on, but closer to reception. Anything closer to the beach didn't look like it would be affected by any renos. I can't imagine they'd be doing anything there. Hopefully that's where you are.
They are slowly replacing all the old style single storey bungalows with newer two storey blocks similar to the deluxe seafront block near the pool. Makes sense really...they can probably fit eight rooms where two bungalow blocks used to sit.
