Fabrics?

Do they have fabrics by the metre in the new Ubud market? Or do I need to go to Denpasar to the fabric market there?
Thanks for any info. I want to buy some fine cotton fabrics preferably the sort with lots of gold n it for making into book cloth to bind sketchbooks.
