Rotary and they have been fantastic providing updates on our sponsored kids, letters from the kids, photos and supplying their school report cards.
We have made a couple of visits over the years of sponsorship and we've been requested to contact Agung to work in with his plans. Rather than have sponsors visiting in dribs and drabs, Rotary prefer if sponsors were to visit as a group on a Saturday with Agung when the schools are involved in community activities such as cleaning the school and nearby streets.
I know it probably won't apply to you but another thing that is requested is that sponsors not go overboard with presents - it leads to envy amongst the kids. If you do want to give a present, consider also including something for the family.
