So almost finished my 1st full day in Bali!! So here is my 1st HNR......
Checked into Sydney Airport at 7am all excited I was watching my clock for our boarding time of 9am to arrive, I was sooo excited but nervous about the plane trip. First time flying in 4 years. But was all good, on the flight my brother tried to make me more nervous.
We flew Garuda, the service was great and the food excellent. I even got to watch Glee! We left Sydney late but we made up the time and arrived into Bali at the right time. Then we used Fast Track for the first time........ There were no lines so it wasn't really worth it for our trip. But if its busy I can see how it would be an advantage. 40 min drive from Denpasar to Nuse Dua to The Peninsula Beach Resort was good, went fast. I had forgotten what drinking in a car in Bali was like. Wow that makes me jump .
Well had dinner by the pool the last night, had my first swim in over a year. Went to bed on Australia time so was in bed by 7.30 Bali time, which I totally regretted this morning as I was up at like 4.00am. So went for a walk and read by the pool as the sun rose.... Breath taking experience. Went shopping at Hardy's this morning, lunch by the pool.
I got my hair braided too :) I chose pink and purple beads. I got my first massage ever in Bali!! It was nice. We had the welcome dinner and drinks and it was nice. Our family won the lucky door prize, then I won another suprise prize the was under my seat! So excited :)
Keen to hear about the 2 classes/courses my sister and i are hoping to do a silver making class and a perfume making course!!
