just home after 10 days and used taxi's often. At least 20 times. Only one asked for a set price of 20,000rp and it was not bluebird and it was raining. Paid the 20,000rp as the normal fare would have been about 12,000rp anyway. Always had a talk to the drivers and always gave a tip. NEVER had a bluebird ask for a special fare. I even got into a taxi, gave the driver 50,000rp up front and said all yours, no meter and he refused. Meter was switched on and he still got the 50,000rp. Remember 50,000rp is only $5 try getting that at home.
Remember bluebird taxi drivers pay two thirds of what is on the meter to the vehicle owner. Out of the one third the drive must make wages and also pay for the fuel.
