Hi Helen, we are in Bali now and each time I have a list of things to do and get and I forget how hot it is. We end up just relaxing and doing what we feel like.......which isn't much this trip. We are heading over to Lembongan for a few days after Nyepi and then back to Pearl for our last week. We're at Puri Ayu in Sanur now.
I have vowed that next time I'm heading further afield....Java to go to Borobudur and spending more time in the north and east of Bali. The south is just getting too busy for us. Andrew is getting some dental work done so its convenient this trip.
It's fairly quiet here now as everyone is winding down for Nyepi. I'm looking forward to the Ogeh Ogeh on Monday night and a day with nothing to do but contemplate life and how lucky we are.
Have you done a tour with C Bali? It's a great insight into Balinese village life. Just google them. Enjoy planning...it's half the fun!!
