Did the cooking class with five of my mates last year. Two of the girls were absolutely non cooks but they both had a great time. We were picked up at 7.30 and taken to sanur markets. So nice there, very clean , not smelly. Met Irma and Dewi and bought all our food with Irma explaining how it would be used on the day. The class is in a lovely complex in Sanur and you get a good breakfast before you start. We all cooked our hearts out, rested when we wanted. No pressure to do anything if you don't want to, you can just watch and eat. Food was lovely and filling. Bonus... met Bloody Ron. Walked away with our cooking books and a smile. We were so impressed that four of us went to the Bintang supermarket and purchased our own balinese mortar and pestle to bring home. I use mine heaps and when not in use is my fruit bowl. Love it. jThe photos of the day have become a focal point in my album of our trip. Great day out.
