I am going on Saturday and would like to take my Travelscoot which is a small fold up mobility aid designed for travel. I am worried about what problems I may encounter at the airport with Air Asia especially in Bali, because these are quite new in Australia and although a mobility aid they may not have seen one before. I know you can normally take mobility aids in cargo free of charge but........ Battery is travel safe, only weighs 16kg. Has anyone taken one before? Any problems? I first got to know about these coz I saw a man on one in Legian in November. I hope he reads BTF.
