We always use smartfren stick with our laptop while in Bali, bought stick on a trip and we just keep topping up each trip, the stick cost 199,000 rupiah with 1 month unlimted, and each top up for each trip is on 50,000 rupiah for 2GB, with one month to use it. This has always worked for us.
