i am visiting bali soon and have only read about "fancy clubs" that stay open all night in kuta and legian. when i looked at a map, i was surprised to see that they were confined to a relatively small area.
off the map, are there small bars, discos, and other venues that attract visitors in the kuta and legian areas? i prefer a bar with good music to a fancy club with long lines and bouncers.
also, who visits these clubs (age, nationality?)? if there are smaller bars and discos, what are the ages and nationalities of these visitors, too?
also, what is the ratio (in your humblest of estimates) of women to men?
