my wife contracted dengue a couple of years ago, wound up in the critical care unit in royal perth hospital for eight days very close to dying, she cant return to bali again because the risks are to high
(doctors told her if she gets bitten by the same mosquito again it could kill her) now the main message I am trying to put out there is your repelant must have a very high deet rating(around 80%)
the specialist told her that products like 'AEROGARD' are 'USELESS' so take my advice and have a look at the deet level before purchase, I use Bushmans that is 80% deet, still not perfect but better than some of the rubbish you see on TV including the so called tropical strenght.
