This dear girl headed off to Bali to celebrate her 21st birthday and is obviously falling in love with Bali as many of us have done over the years and is allowing us the privilege of sharing her time. As part of her journey she has come to understand that the most important thing travellers can take with them to another country is respect and she was disappointed when she saw the opposite. For those pedants of you out there, the Echols and Shadily dictionary uses the word tawar-menawar to mean both to bargain and to haggle. It is to reduce the price of an item. Barter is entirely different and is to give one item in exchange for another. So travel opens our minds... shame some of us close them again when we get home. Enough now. Give her a break.
