The very reason you compare two things is to determine the differences between them.
Doing this allows you to make a informed choice about;
- what your needs are
- what your expectations are
- what you are prepared to pay
- what your perception of value for money is
If I don't compare an expensive hotel against and cheaper one, how will I know what facilities that have and which one I want to stay in?
If I don't compare a more expensive cooking class with a cheaper one, how will I know what I'm getting for my money, and which one meets my needs?
