what they were going to do as an alternative to the Garden Club Lounge and the Bella Rosa Restaurant. I've stayed at the Padma 10 times now and always enjoyed the Club benefits. I do think they need a larger buidling though and wouldn't it be nice if you could enjoy your cocktails from 5-7 while looking at the ocean? Maybe the new building will suit that option better. I was hoping they might open the Sunset bar to the Club members for the time being. And I would have also missed the ocean view while having breakfast at the Bella Rosa - not to mention the made to order menu.
I'm curious - did you book directly with the hotel? If so, they should have notified you.
Glad it didn't ruin the trip but it would hae been a surpirse for sure.
