Visa overstay by 1 day has anyone?

Our flight has been changed and to get a direct flight home we can
Leave a day early :-( or stay a extra day
But this means our 30 day visa will be over by 1 day
Has anyone done this and what did you do , pay a fine ???
Any info would be great
