Joc's is next to RiVaVi and a friend stayed at the RaVaVi whilst we were there. Pool is in the centre of the hotel so rooms can be noisy. and echo'y. On the Right side of the hotel looking at it from the road is rooms without the noise of the pool. no views or windows thou. RiVaVi is the start of the owners childrens names. Richard, Vanessa and Victoria.
Would not recomend eating at Jocs hotel next door. In that area the Lemon Grass was great, MoMoo's almost next door had excellent pasta but the steaks were a little dry, but good overall. We also had a meal at Bali Beach Shack in Garlic lane. (just before the Mime show) Meal was excellent and the best in 14 nights of eating everywhere. Cheap ($11 for large steak, $12 for lamb chops) Australian owned and run but price of drinks went up when the show started but we expected that.
Best ice coffee etc at Coffee Corner over the road from RiVaVi. Money changer over Legian Street still in Melasti Street was the best (same side of Melasti + 50 metres away) Others were always in this Bank/Money changer writing down the current rates.
