I went to the wedding of some Balinese friends about 5 years ago now. I wear a plus size and so buying ready made wasn't an option and to be honest, I wasn't nearly savvy enough back then to think to have one custom made. I wore a nice blouse of my own and the bride loaned me a lovely sarong and sash to wear for the day.
If I were to do it all over though and had the time before the wedding, I'd go and have something custom made to fit me but would probably go for a camisole under the kebaya rather than a corset.
