AA will probably be cheapest, usually is ex Perth. Do spend time on the comp shopping around. If you decide to go with AA it's usually cheaper to book 2 one way tickets instead of a return.
When booking your flight also book your baggage (get the max for your return trip & just what you think you'll need for the flight over), choose your seats if you want to be together & any food (although I usually take some tasty cheese & cracker packs as the AA food can be unappetising & it's a short flight). Booking all such stuff at the same time saves a credit card fee. Think you can get up to 40K on AA, paying in advance. 30K is heaps for me.
