We were always told to 1/4 the first price offered. So if the first price is 100.000 rp, offer 25,000. Somewhere mixed in the other comments someone suggested that if they cant afford to sell for your bottom offer they wont. This is very true. Dont feel guilty because of your mums great deal. They still will have made a profit.
