a full day is usually 6-8 hours.
for 6-8 hours we would pay Rp400-500,000 for the day depending on how much travel we do.
for 8+ hours we would pay Rp500-600,000 again depending on how much travel/how much petrol used. sometimes we tip more as AUD$60 really isnt much for a great day out (that same amount wouldnt get you far in a taxi in australia..)
in your case you are paying for the convienience of having a driver wait around so you dont have the hassle of finding a taxi or driver at night, not really paying for 6 hours of driving/petrol but in my opinion it is still something to value and I think that you should pay your driver Rp400,000 (i am sure that the extra Rp100,000/AUD$10 would be very welcome).
