Hallo families!
Wow, the things we can cram into a day here! Sunday night was a long walk to dinner, Made's Warang, really nice local cuisine that happy days the kids liked too! Not too spicy, phew! Then the same long walk back again, amazed at Miss 7's stamina when it comes to wanting to be out after dark. Mr 2 was all good as well, got some new green sunglasses so he's happy. The salesman's start price was 300,000rp and I had to be excused to clean up the mess because MY SIDES WERE SPLITTING!!! Final price 30,000rp. I am sure he was still very happy with that!! No other shopping but checked out what's on offer!
Yesterday we were at beachside having P's hair plaited (having had breakfast and done the usual morning faff) by ... 8:15am. While waiting I had a foot rub and we both had nails done by the lovely HotDog! 180,000rp, probably extortionate but there you go. Then the rest of the morning in the pool.
More pool after the nap, then headed out on the town again. P and I checked out the tailoring situation but it all got a bit hard and way too expensive, more than at home on sale so probably will give that a miss. Might give it one more go at "Jenny's No Bulls**t" shop (fixed price) and see what happens. Otherwise will just go the cheap market stall option and wait for the next sale at Flower!!!
While waiting, Dom and X went to the pub. It would seem we have a small charmer as every single female wait staff wanted their picture taken with Mr 2 and he was loving it! Unfortunately Dom didn't have a camera so we'll just have to imagine what that was like - can't you though!!! Might drop in and give them our email see if they'll send us some pics!!
We were looking for Poppies restaurant but still not oriented so stopped at Mades again as was after 6pm and kids very wriggly to say the least. Finished there and found Poppies round the corner (hey, it's been a long time!). So we'll head there tonight maybe. Or "maybe tomorrooooooow"!!
Strolled a bit down Legian Street but was quite late, very quiet and actually didn't "feel" very good. Will possibly just go back along there to pay respects at Sari Club but otherwise give that area a miss.
Late to breakfast this morning - not til 7:20am! I was woken by a plane load of extraordinarily loud Hong Kongese arriving at 3:30am, you wouldn't credit the lack of consideration! They'd have no trouble chatting at a loud nightclub that's for sure!
Now nearly 10am, Dom's already had a massage and the kids are in the pool again. I'm sure I had some more funny stuff to tell you but sleep deprivation is kicking in big time today!
P says that if it weren't for the footpaths and the tapwater (can't drink) Bali would be the most beautiful country in the world! However she did qualify that by admitting she had yet to visit every other country so there is a possibility that isn't quite the case! It is lovely though and we're having a ball. Even still laughing, wow!
Must just check the England cricket scores before my time runs out so will check back in again when I can. Love to all!
xx
