We always stay in Nusa Dua for a few days prior to taking off to other parts. Great place to relax away from the maddening crowds. Depending on where your staying, the boadwalk is great in both directions for a good stroll.Stop along the way for refreshments at other hotels. Walk out onto the penninsular that jutts out in front of Bali Collection and the new Bayshore eateries, There is free transport to the Bali Collection Shopping Mall which leaves from Hotels usually every half hour. Great selection of water sports mainly in tanjung Benoa. You can book any day trips from your Hotel.Make sure you do as Nusa Dua isnt the real bali and you need to get out of the area for a few day trips.
There are many restaurants in the area either at the Bali Collection or up in tanjung Benoa where many places offer free pick up and drop off. For a true bali experience re food book a night at Bumbu Bali which is fabulous. Take a taxi to Mengiat street for cheaper meals and there are a few cheaper places in Tangung Benoa also.(only a ten minute drive away). Do make a point of rising early to catch a sunrise. Just be mindful that staying in Nusa Dua isnt cheap, so venture out and also try a massage from the locals on the beach. About a fith of the price. Enjoy your stay.
