Hi Mum!
Here we are. Easy flight with Virgin from ADL, kids a breeze, really well behaved, love 'em!
Pilot said we'd made up 30 mins on way but we seemed to lose those again as landed on time. Visa on Arrival piece of cake, baggage claim no worries, customs a breeze, driver waiting - or did I just drink a bottle of Emergency Essence...???
The traffic is amazing and it all seems to have changed so much, didn't recognise a thing. However we are nowhere near where we have stayed before so maybe that's it. The hotel is OK, as most people say just a bit tired (Ramada Bintang) but staff are lovely and kids happy with the novelty of it all. Everyone slept most of the night, although that didn't start until 10pm Adelaide time so was surprised when X woke at usual 5am!
Today we had had breakfast, been for a short walk along the beach and another stroll along the street, shopped for essentials (water and beer!) and were in the pool by ... 9:30am!!! I thought this was a holiday??! Kids just love the pool, we all had a great time and everyone knew exactly what P was doing the entire time. And it's a BIG pool... know what I mean??!
Another go in the pool this afternoon after the nap and just now we are heading out to see what we can see. P still hasn't decided when to have her hair plaited, it changes every minute! She loves a schedule.
All well and happy, enjoying the relaxedness of everyone, there has even been some actual laughing!! P doesn't recognise her own parents!
I'll try and get here most if not every day. Am trying to keep my post to within 10mins (15000rp per 10mins!).
