and we were terrified. We had no idea what was going on although hotel did warn us not to go out as it was dangerous. No lights or food and wasn't fun at all. Have been for 2 more Nyepis in recent years. Loved the first one, was a bit over it the second time around although I do love the silence and the blacked out windows, candles etc at hotel
