I'd be in that too, and maybe an idea for someone enterprising.
Heliconia grow fast and do well from cuttings which is why, I guess (?) no one has seen it as necessary to get them into flasks.

Did you know that the reason you can bring back cut flower orchids but not Heliconias from overseas into Australia is that they are closely related to Bananas, as are Strelitzia (Bird of Paradise) and can carry the same diseases.
