After years of travelling to Bali last year my husband decided he would drive himself, he got his International drivers license before we left. We picked up the car in Kuta and drove to Canggu, then to Safari Park for an overnighter, Candi Dasa, Amed and back to Kuta think we had the car for just over a week.
We took a couple of wrong turns (I was navigator with a map with no road names) but it was all part of the adventure. Twice we were pulled over by the police but as hubby had correct drivers license and the car papers were good we were waved on.
