I have been to Bali many many times and have always avoided the porters because I always found them a little aggressive, BUT last year I used them for the first time as I was travelling with my mum and had VERY HEAVY bags. The taxi we were in had smashed into another car on the way to the airport so we were pretty shaken up too! The guy who helped us was FANTASTIC and helped us all the way to the check-in counter. He even said "bless you" as he walked away. Could not have wished for better!!!!
